I had never been overseas! So I decided to take a two month trip of a lifetime all over Western Europe solo. At first I was a little anxious and had many questions and queries. My name is Albina Gudelis and three weeks ago I returned with my two daughters from one month holiday in Eastern Europe. We had the best time ever, thanks to Marysia Hock of Contal Travel who organised it for us.
We organised our holiday in November, because of work commitments and had onlyfour weeks to travel 1st-30th July. The first two weeks were to be spent in Lithuania andthe rest on a tour of Prague, Budapest and Vienna. Much to our dismay that tour was cancelled just approx six weeks before we were due to leave and we were left stranded. You can’t imagine how we felt because we were planning this for ages.
Marysia came to the rescue she was so calm and patient and I spent hours with her trying to organise another tour in that limited time. She is the very best travel consultant in the “world” well maybe in Australia.
The Beyond Travel was excellent and it included Latvia, Estonia, Finland and St Petersburg.
Marysia went to so much trouble to accommodate us in the best hotels; the tour was very relaxed because we stayed a few days in each capital city. The weather was perfect for sightseeing.
This tour should be recommended more in Australia because apart from us, there was only one other person from Perth. They were mostly people from America and Europe. Those countries (I mean Baltic Lands) Finland and especially Lithuania, my third visit, are really beautiful. My favourite city is of course Vilnius and St Petersburg.
